- PSG have reportedly made an opening offer of £30million for Gianluca Scamacca
- Sassuolo has rejected the offer and wants £43 million for the Italian striker

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly submitted an opening offer to Sassuolo for Arsenal target Gianluca Scamacca.
The 23-year-old scored 16 Serie A goals for Sassuolo last season and is believed to be on the Gunners’ summer goal list.
Mikel Arteta is in desperate need of reinforcements up front this summer following the departures of Pierre-Emeric Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, and he is said to keep an eye on Scamacca during his breakthrough season at Sassuolo.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal saw a bid of around £35million rejected by the Italian club.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Scamacca turned down the Premier League’s offer in hopes of signing for an Italian giant this summer.
And now their pursuit of the striker has dealt another blow as PSG entered the race for Scamacca.

However, that amount was also turned down by Sassuolo, who reportedly wants a £43 million fee for the Italy international.
But Arsenal can continue to compete for Scamacca as negotiations between the Italian club and PSG are expected to continue.
The Gunners will have to act quickly if they are to secure the services of the towering six-foot attacker.

Scamacca has also reportedly sparked interest from Inter Milan, although it is believed no formal offer has been made this summer.
As it stands, the Italian giants seem more focused on closing deals with reported transfer targets Paulo Dybala and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who are each out of contract by July.
The troubled Romelu Lukaku has also been linked with a return to the San Siro, although Chelsea are unlikely to let him return cheaply after spending more than £100million on the Belgian last summer.

Arsenal’s No. 1 target this summer is believed to be Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian forward has entered the final year of his contract with the Etihad and is now expected to leave following the arrival of Erling Haaland for £51million.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Real Madrid have all been linked with the 25-year-old, but it is Arsenal that are reportedly leading the race to bring him in.
