Arnold Schwarzenegger gave back to his community this week by handing out turkeys in Los Angeles.
The 77-year-old former California governor, who endorsed Kamala Harris last month, was in good spirits when he appeared at the Hollenbeck Youth Center and greeted families.
Speaking to Fox 11 at the event, the Terminator actor said of the service: “For me, giving back is everything.”
According to the outlet, Schwarzenegger has maintained the tradition for more than 30 years.
He was joined by actor and comedian Tom Arnold, 65, at the youth centre, and the two posed for photographs together.
Arnold said of the spirit of volunteering, “It’s something that will stay with you forever.”

He looked handsome with a full white beard and dark hair combed back.
The veteran Hollywood personality sported a casual all-black look for the pre-holiday festivities, showing off his patriotism in a black bomber jacket with an American flag patch on one sleeve and a California flag on the other.
He was equally patriotic two weeks earlier, when he celebrated Veterans Day with a sentimental post on social media.
Drawing on his nearly 30 million Instagram followers, he wrote in a caption: “Today I want to thank each and every one of our veterans.
‘You make this country the best country in the world. They put themselves at risk for all of us. You served us and now you deserve our service.
The note was accompanied by a carousel of images showing the star serving pizza to veterans.
‘I also want to ask all my followers and fans to do more than enjoy the holidays or post a photo of a flag. It is our turn to serve these heroes,’ he urged.
‘My tradition is to bring pizza to the vets at the Veterans Affairs Center in Los Angeles and be with them to make sure they know how grateful I am. “You can create your own tradition: thank a veteran, treat them to dinner, or simply write to your politicians and demand that we take better care of our heroes,” he added.

Schwarzenegger has kept the tradition going for more than 30 years.
Schwarzenegger was previously married to journalist and Kennedy family member Maria Shriver.
Schwarzenegger first crossed paths with Maria, the niece of the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy, at a tennis match in August 1977.
The two became engaged after Arnold popped the question in his home country of Austria in 1985.
The former couple married in 1986 in a ceremony at the Kennedy family home in Massachusetts.
Into their 25-year marriage, the couple welcomed daughters Katherine and Christina, as well as sons Patrick and Christopher.
Arnold had a son, Joseph, born a few days before Christopher, with his lover, leading to his separation from Maria.
