A Texas man who shot his wife to death on camera after discovering she was having an affair was sentenced to just ten years in prison for her murder.

Carey Birmingham, 60, was sentenced earlier this week after fatally shooting his wife Patricia, 48, in December 2021 after discovering she was having an affair.

The murder was caught on video and, despite overwhelming evidence, Birmingham will serve ten years in prison, with the maximum being 20.

In the disturbing video, Birmingham can be seen driving down the driveway of his home in Spring, Texas, in a bathrobe and wielding a shotgun.
