Nearly a month after Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval’s shocking lawsuit against his ex, Ariana Madix briefly addressed the suit.
Madix, 39, was sued in July by Sandoval, 40, for accessing his phone on March 1, 2023, and viewing explicit videos and photos of him and his mistress Rachel Leviss without his permission, ultimately ending their nearly nine-year relationship.
The lawsuit also alleges that Madix made copies of the videos and shared them with others without their consent.
However, just a day later, Sandoval withdrew the lawsuit and fired his attorney Matt Geragos, “misleading” him about the filing.
Madix has not addressed the lawsuit publicly, though she appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday and briefly addressed it.

A fan asked the Love Island USA host if she believes Sandoval’s statement that the lawsuit was her lawyer’s fault and that he had no intention of suing her.
Madix just shrugged and smiled, and when pressed by host Andy Cohen on her reaction and whether she was furious, she said: “It was a really bad day.”
On July 19, Sandoval took to Instagram to explain that he never intended to sue his ex.
“On Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me regarding the counterclaim in the lawsuit against me and Ariana,” he said.
“He assured me that the action was usual and strictly preventive in this type of trials and urged me to agree to it,” Sandoval added.
“I was not told the words ‘new lawsuit’ or ‘lawsuit.’ I should have investigated the matter further. Realizing what this action really means, I have removed Matt Geragos from my legal team,” he added.
“I am in no way suing Ariana. The lawsuit against Ariana filed on my behalf will be dropped. I had no ill will or desire for revenge towards Ariana,” Tom insisted.
“Now, by removing both the countersuit and the attorney who recommended it, I look forward to resolving this case quickly, so Ariana and I can finally MOVE ON with our lives,” he concluded.
Madix was also asked if she had been in contact with Tom Schwartz and she said, “No,” and when asked if she had spoken to Scheana Shay, she said, “Here and there, yeah.”
Asked if their “friendship took a huge hit after the reunion,” Madix admitted, “Yeah, but there’s a lot of love there.”
“I’m so happy, she just won an award for talking about her postpartum OCD, and I thought that was really, really lovely.”
Madix just shrugged and smiled, and when pressed by host Andy Cohen on her reaction and whether she was furious, she said: “It was a really bad day.”

She also shot down rumours that her VPR co-star and longtime friend Katie Maloney was dating Love Island USA’s Conor Newsum, and rumours that she had introduced them.
“Katie’s not dating anyone. And I’ve never match-made Katie. So… yeah,” Ariana said.
