Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie took to social media on Thursday to deny that his sister has any real connection to cannibalism.
Frankie, 41, took to X/Twitter in response to a post about how “a fan joke about Ariana Grande being a cannibal went viral in an effort to discourage people from buying concert tickets.”
Frankie, a New York City native, laughed off the insinuation and clearly denied any link between his sister, 31, and the practice of consuming human remains (it comes less than a month after a controversy in which the singer said she found serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer “quite fascinating”).
“HAHAHAHAHAHA,” Frankie said. “Wow! This might be the lowest and most creative point they’ve ever reached. Reaching new depths every day!”
Frankie, who Ariana has called her “superhero” in the past, clarified that the strange rumors circulating on the Internet were baseless.

“Listen, I know my sister has been eating girls for years, but this is a bit extreme!” said Frankie, who has already participated in the reality show Big Brother. “Plus, she’s vegan.”
Frankie, who previously participated in the reality show Big Brother, was praised in the comments section with several statements of support.
One user said: “Frankie I love you,” while another said: “Ooo you’re not involved Frankie?”
The online rumor arose amid a trend in recent months in which fans have posted online “outlandish accusations against” artists they want to see live and have access to better seats, according to Billboard.
Ariana has not revealed any tour dates to promote her album Eternal Sunshine, which she released last March.
Ariana said on the Shut Up Evan podcast on Tuesday that she’s been streamlining plans for a “small sampling” of concerts.
“It’s something my team and I are working on to find options,” Ariana said. “For a multitude of reasons, I’m not going to tour like I used to.”
Frankie, who previously participated in the reality show Big Brother, was cheered in the comments section with a series of statements of support.
Frankie clarified that the strange rumors circulating on the Internet were unfounded. The brothers were photographed in October 2023 in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
In April, Frankie took to Instagram to honor her younger sister and mark National Siblings Day.
“I want to take a moment to thank the BEST sister in the world for being there for me through thick and thin,” she said. “From helping me on my journey to sobriety to being there for the most important moments in my life and career.”

Ariana’s comments about Dahmer, who killed 17 victims between 1978 and 1991 and consumed their remains, in some cases, came during an appearance on the Podcrushed podcast on June 17.
She told host Penn Badgley that she had been answering questions from young fans at a Q&A session years ago and had been asked who she would like to have dinner with.
“When I was younger, I was fascinated by serial killers,” Grande said. “I was like, ‘Oh, they’re so cute. Mom and Dad, is it OK if I give them the real answer?'”
“And they said, ‘Sure, what’s the answer? ‘ And I said, ‘Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty fascinating. I think I would have loved to meet him. You know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions. ‘”
Ariana’s comments about Jeffrey Dahmer came during an appearance on the Podcrushed podcast on June 17.
The comment received considerable backlash from the public, while the mother of one of Dahmer’s victims publicly criticized the pop star for his comments.
Shirley Hughes, the mother of Anthony ‘Tony’ Hughes, said TMZ On June 27, Grande said, ‘It seems to me that she is mentally ill.
“It’s not classy or funny to say you wish you had dinner with him. It’s also not something you should say to young people, which is what she says she did.”
