Ariana Grande took to her Instagram page to continue her two-tier promotional campaign for her long-awaited seventh studio album. eternal sunand his upcoming new film Wicked.
In an Instagram post on Thursday night, Oscar de la Renta gave fans a sneak peek at how a colorful floral minidress was made for Grande, in a post that tagged both ‘#WickedMovie and the superstar’ @arianagrande ‘, who plays Glinda in the film. The upcoming musical fantasy film will be released in November.
Moments later, the pop princess herself took to her own Instagram page to strike some poses in the finished version of the sheer minidress that comes complete with blooming poppies, in a nod to the Land of Oz, and various shades of red, pink and white.
Beneath the large artificial flowers were giant lengths of green fabric, which looked like plant leaves.
In another nod to Oz, stylists finished off Grande’s look by slipping on their version of ruby slippers with a pair of red heels while posing next to a trailer that appears to be on the film set.

While it’s unknown exactly where she rocked this look, Oscar de la Renta shared that it’s “for the #WickedMovie world press tour” in an Instagram post showing the star in the eye-catching floral number.
“Swipe to see the magic of the #odlratelier as poppies are placed and sewn for @arianagrande #WickedMovie #odlrspring2024,” reads the caption of three photo posts showing the minidress in different stages of its creation.
One of the photos captured three of the designers working their magic while arranging the floral designs.
Grande would also strike another pose in the minidress with her head slightly to the left while resting her left arm on her slender waist.
Other photos in the carousel included photos of her dog, one of her running through an empty room dressed in red tights and a black coat, and FaceTime calls with director Jon M. Chu, who is directing Wicked.
There’s also a video of Grande playfully hanging out with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo at the recent Super Bowl LVIII, where they both wore custom-made Louis Vuitton sequin jackets.
