Many of us look forward to vacations all year round, and of course everyone wants to capture the best photos from their travels so they can look back on the happy memories.
But bad weather, cheeky animals and a lack of photographic skills can make for a very disappointing holiday album.
TravelerDoor shared a funny selection of some of the worst travel photos from around the world, including a man who went all the way from Texas to California to enjoy the beach only to find it raining.
Elsewhere, a tourist somehow managed to snap a photo of the Leaning Tower of Pisa looking more or less upright, while one was horrified to find Notre Dame in flames on her maiden voyage. to Paris.
Meanwhile, a mother took a photo of her sons visiting Mount Rushmore and failed to get the presidential engravings inside.
