She will be hoping to wow the judges when she begins her quest for the Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball on Saturday night.
But Nick Knowles had to settle for fuming as he took a break from dance rehearsals in London on Monday.
The DIY SOS presenter was spotted smoking a cigarette while outside a local studio with professional dancer Luba Mushtuk, a regular on the BBC show.
Having worked up a sweat during a four-hour rehearsal, Knowles, 61, looked understandably exhausted as he stepped outside for a breather.
Mushtuk, 34, a specialist in Russian ballroom dancing, joined him for a cigarette before heading back inside.

Asked about the Strictly curse, Knowles, who is taking part in the show’s 20th anniversary series, said: “I barely have the energy to walk to the car afterwards. That’s not a problem.
‘The truth is that yesterday we had a training day and when I got home I literally dragged myself to the car and sat with my feet in a bath of cold water for an hour.’
Knowles proposed to Katie Dadzie, 34, a lingerie business owner, while filming in the US last August.
The presenter, who has fronted the show Who Dares Wins, also revealed he has lost just under 18 stone since he began training for Saturday night’s dance competition around six weeks ago.
He added: ‘I was very fat, I lost a lot of weight. I did about six weeks of training to get in shape to start dancing.
“The most important thing is to be fit enough to be able to do it, because it is incredibly hard work.”
Knowles had previously expressed her desire to slim down for the dance competition after a fan tweeted her: “I’ve also got a book going on with everyone on how much weight you’ll lose by strictly exercising… I’m down to 3.5 stone…” (sic)
The presenter stood near the exit as he finished his cigarette before heading inside.
He seemed to wave to the spectators as he took the last drags of his cigarette.
Russian ballroom dancing professional Mushtuk followed him inside as they continued their rehearsal.
“I barely have the energy to walk to the car after the performance. That’s not a problem,” she recently said of her rehearsal sessions.
The presenter also revealed he has lost just under two stone since he began training for Saturday night’s dance competition around six weeks ago.
In response, the TV star revealed: ‘Well, I’ve been working out at the gym and following a strict diet and I’ve already lost 7 kilos.’
While at the gym, Nick tweeted a clip of himself nearly falling off the treadmill as he joked: “I was clowning around on the treadmill during pre-Strictly fitness training and nearly fell off.”
Nick seems to be enjoying his training regime and appears to be committed to getting in shape.
Talking with The mirror In 2021 he said: ‘I’ve made my living looking like a bag of wrenches on TV. I weigh 85 kilos, I’m huge.
“I’m always working on projects. During the lockdown I gained almost 25 kilos. Now I’ve lost 18 kilos and I’m getting back into shape.”
