A short video clip posted on X may give us the best idea yet of what the long-awaited iPhone 16 will be like.

There are still about three months until Apple’s next iPhone is officially presented.

But a new video clip may offer us the best look yet at what the long-awaited device will look like.

Posted on X, the leaked clip reveals the case for the iPhone 16, which has supposedly been molded to the exact specifications of the new phone.

It suggests that the iPhone 16 will have a new button located on the right side, which could be a game-changer for selfie fans.

According to some reports, the iPhone 16, which will be launched in September, is expected to be the most expensive smartphone Apple has ever launched.

On the clip, the edge of the case clearly has a slot where users could press the new button.

Known as the “Capture Button”, it allows users to activate the camera much faster than before, ensuring fleeting moments are captured.

With a single press, the Capture button will take photos and start video clips and offer users an alternative to tapping the screen.

This is corroborated by previously leaked images showing the new button in the same position – on the right edge of the screen, below the existing power button.

Renders obtained by 91mobiles show the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro with the new capture button (circled in red) directly below the existing power button.

What’s more, the new clip suggests that the camera lenses on the back will be arranged vertically rather than diagonally, again backing up claims from a previous leak.

It’s unclear why Apple would opt for this vertical lens alignment, although it could have to do with the new Vision Pro headphones.

According BGRApple wants all of its iPhones to record ‘space videos’ that can be played back on the Vision Pro, but this requires a vertical camera setup.

Having already launched in the US, the Vision Pro will launch in the UK next month for the incredible price of £3,499.

MailOnline has contacted Apple for comment, although the tech giant generally doesn’t comment on any rumors ahead of their release.

Like last year’s iPhone 15, the iPhone 16 is expected to launch in four different versions: iPhone 16 (the standard model), iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

However, it’s not certain whether all four iPhone 16 models have the capture button or which model the case would fit into the new clip.

Although exact pricing is unclear, it is expected to surpass the iPhone 15, which starts at £799/$799 for the standard model, while the most expensive variation, the Pro Max, starts at £1,199/$1,199 and goes up to £1,599. /$1,599. for 1 TB of storage.

The renders also show that Apple is working on the iPhone SE 4, the latest in Apple’s ‘budget’ SE line of smartphones and an update to the iPhone SE 3 from 2022.

The launch of the iPhone 16 will be accompanied by a major new software update, iOS 18, which will include a number of AI-powered features, unless you’re in the EU.

Apple’s new AI update won’t hit European devices until next year at the earliest due to privacy concerns, tech giant admits

It was the most anticipated feature unveiled at this year’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

But Apple now says that Apple Intelligence and two other big updates won’t hit devices in the European Union until next year at the latest.

In a statement, the tech giant revealed that it would delay the EU launch of its massive AI upgrade due to privacy concerns arising from the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Apple says it will also delay iPhone Mirroring for Mac, as well as improvements to SharePlay Screen Sharing due to “regulatory uncertainties.”

MailOnline has contacted Apple for more information, but it is not yet clear whether this will affect UK users.
