Apple is completely out of iPod touch in the US
If you were hoping to buy an iPod touch before Apple shipped the iPod to the big Apple Store in the sky, we’re afraid to say it’s probably too late. Apple only announced Tuesday that the iPod touch was discontinued and would only be sold while supplies last. It didn’t take long: less than two days later, the US Apple Store was completely removed from all iPod touch models.
All is not lost, though: If you’re desperate to get your hands on an iPod before the music dies, there’s still stock at Apple Stores in several countries, but expect to sell out soon. If not, you may be able to find an iPod touch for sale on eBay or at an Apple dealer near you.
Where is the iPod touch in stock?
Around the world there are still a few places that have stock:
US
- All models are out of stock for online delivery.
- There are a few places where you may still be able to pick up an iPod touch at an Apple Store, though we recommend calling ahead to check if you plan to visit.
- Best Buy and Amazon still have some stock available for purchase, although some colors are out of stock.
- You can also search eBay for people selling new and used models.
United Kingdom
Most models are still available online. UK Apple Store:

Australia
iPod touch is available in every color in the Australian Apple Storealthough some models are only available for store pickup.
