Apple will reportedly introduce an OLED display for the iPhone SE 4 and all future iPhones. The new SE model is rumored to be released in 2025

Apple could launch a “cheap” iPhone next year, which fans are calling “an incredible deal.”

Sources claimed the iPhone SE 4 model will have a reduced price of around $500 and a similar design to the iPhone 14.

The budget smartphone will feature an improved camera, a new processor with AI features, and an action button for almost half the price of the upcoming iPhone 16.

Apple is also rumored to Replace your outdated LED display with an OLED display that delivers a brighter, more vivid viewing experience—including with newer iPhones.

Apple will reportedly introduce an OLED display for the iPhone SE 4 and all future iPhones. The new SE model is rumored to be released in 2025

Apple hasn’t officially confirmed that it’s building an iPhone SE 4, but reports about the upcoming device have flooded the web in recent weeks.

The last budget device, the iPhone SE 3, hit the market in 2022, suggesting that the tech giant will release an updated model.

iPhone fans expressed their excitement about the possible new device in Redditwith a person writing: ‘The iPhone SE 4 promises to be a very good deal.’

Another said: “This will be my pick this year” and another added: “Absolutely going to be my next upgrade from the 12.”

Anonymous sources told the Japanese press that Nikkei Asia that Apple has begun taking orders for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).

The new display will offer sharper contrast and a more vivid viewing experience than liquid crystal displays (LED).

The newest display emits light on its own without the need for a backlight, providing a near-seamless viewing experience regardless of angle.

The iPhone SE is commonly described as the flagship phone line

The iPhone SE is commonly described as Apple’s “budget” line of phones and is projected to cost $499 compared to the iPhone 16’s estimated $799 price tag.

OLEDs generally have higher brightness and can display colors more accurately.

These screens also emit less blue light than their LED counterparts, which can help reduce eye strain and improve sleep quality.

Apple has reportedly placed OLED orders for its Series 4 SE model with China’s BOE Technology Group and South Korea’s LG Display.

The company began using OLED panels in its smartphones when it launched the iPhone X in 2017, but hasn’t made the full switch until now.

This could be because these higher-tech displays typically cost around 20 percent more to produce because they use more expensive materials than LEDs, are harder to manufacture and have a shorter lifespan.

Not only could the iPhone SE 4 get the advanced display at a lower cost to consumers, but it is also rumored to have a 6.1-inch display compared to the 4.7-inch display on the previous model.

The SE 4 is expected to launch in 2025 and will cost $499 compared to the upcoming iPhone 16, which will likely be priced at $799.
