Michaels shoppers will not be able to shop at any of the artisan chain’s locations next Sunday.

A spokesperson confirmed to DailyMail.com that all Michael’s stores will be closed on March 31 for Easter.

Michaels is one of more than 20 chain stores that will be closing their doors all Easter Sunday.

The 24-hour closing of more than 1,000 Michaels stores comes after the U.S. Commerce Department revealed retail sales rose 0.7 percent this month.

All the shops that are closed on Easter Sunday will return to normal opening hours on 1 April.
