Anthony Joshua scored an impressive KO victory over Francis Ngannou in their highly anticipated clash in Saudi Arabia.
After months of preparation, the two heavyweight stars finally met inside the ring on Friday night at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
For Ngannou, a former UFC champion, this was only the second time he set foot inside the boxing ring following his narrow and controversial split decision loss to Tyson Fury in October.
Meanwhile, Joshua, who weighed 20 pounds less than his Cameroonian counterpart, had promised to bring “relentlessness” to combat in the Middle East.
And the British star certainly started with those intentions when he sent the former UFC champion to the canvas in the first round of the fight, with a right hand that caught Ngannou off guard.
