Anthony Edwards’ one-handed dunk in the third quarter against John Collins is considered one of the greatest slams of all time.
Following a Utah Jazz turnover, Edwards passed the ball while dribbling down the court to Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who quickly returned it to Edwards.
Edwards took off toward the rim just beyond the elbow and met Collins in the air. Advantage Edwards who easily pushed Collins to put the ball into the net.
This incredible piece caused an audible gasp from those inside the Delta Center. Edwards dove the ball with such ferocity that he and Collins were injured during the play, with Collins holding his head and Edwards grabbing his hand.
