In this episode of Good word with good willYahoo Sports’ senior NBA reporter Vincent Goodwill sits down with Yahoo Sports basketball analyst Isis “Ice” Young for a tour of the quiet NBA and the lively WNBA.

The show opens with Anthony Edwards’ comments about previous generations of NBA players and how they all lacked skill, save for Michael Jordan. Vince tries to be sympathetic to Edwards (Ice doesn’t), but explains how different basketball has become over the last 30 years.

Ice announces that she has one vote for the WNBA’s year-end awards, so we go through each one and who we would vote for if the season ended today, but not before wondering what’s wrong with the Las Vegas Aces lately and if they can still achieve a three-peat.

Finally, a wild rumor about the Los Angeles Lakers targeting Luka Doncic to be their superstar once LeBron James retires leads to Vinnie and Ice talking about how they personally want LeBron’s career to end in Los Angeles.
