Anthony Albanese postpones his wedding to Jodie Haydon as drama engulfs the Prime Minister months before next election

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has decided to postpone his wedding to fiancée Jodie Haydon.

Although pundits predicted the Prime Minister would use his impending nuptials to win over undecided voters in the upcoming federal election, it has emerged that Albanese will instead devote his full attention to winning a second term in office.

The decision could come as a shock to those close to the couple as Ms Haydon has an elderly grandmother who is very keen to attend the event.

However, it is understood Albanese’s wedding to Haydon was deemed too much of a distraction amid growing concerns over a close election.
