Anthony Albanese Newspoll: Huge blow for Anthony Albanese as disastrous new poll shows Labor going backwards months after new year ‘reset’

A new poll has revealed Australians are turning their backs on the Labor Party after a referendum defeat and a rollback on tax cuts.

Newspoll results reveal just 32 per cent of Australians have Anthony Albanese’s Government as their primary vote, the lowest drop since winning the 2022 federal election.

The same poll showed the Liberal-National Coalition pulling away from Labor with a 37 per cent share of the primary vote.

Labor also appears to be losing control of the two-party preferential vote and now only leads the coalition by 51 to 49, after having a huge 57 to 43 lead in September 2022.
