Ant appeared content to spend time with his family amid his protracted custody battle over his beloved dog Hurley with his ex Lisa, 47.

The former couple adopted the dog in 2013 after struggling to have a child of their own, but later split in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.

Earlier this month, the makeup artist took to Instagram to celebrate the dog’s 11th birthday with a sweet tribute.

Showing her love for her four-legged friend, she shared a series of snaps of Hurley over the years, from when he was a puppy until now.

Captioning the photos, she wrote: ‘My baby boy is 11! Happy birthday Hurley, you are an absolute beauty. #MamasBaby Boy.’

Lisa is said to have expressed her desire to care for the Labrador full-time in February, and friends close to the makeup artist say that desire is stronger than ever following the birth of Ant’s first child.

Ant addressed fans' concerns, writing:

“She felt very betrayed by both Ant and Anne-Marie and felt that none of this had been handled sensitively, especially the baby announcement,” the sources said. Sun.

“The only thing that has gotten her through it and has been by her side constantly is Hurley. She doesn’t know what she would do without him. To her, he’s more than just a dog and has been a lifesaver at times.”

The former couple reportedly agreed to take turns caring for Hurley, with the arrangement including having Ant’s driver transport the dog between them so they wouldn’t have to see each other.

Ant’s problems with alcohol only became public in March 2018, two months after he and Lisa divorced, when he was involved in a car accident and charged with drink driving, for which he received an £86,000 fine.

In addition to welcoming his son in May, Ant also revealed his new tattoo which is a tribute to his family.

While holding the newborn, Ant revealed a tattoo of a family tree on his upper arm, however fans accused him of “snubbing” dog Hurley, whose name did not appear to be on the design.

Last month, Lisa returned to social media for the first time since the presenter welcomed baby Wilder with a cryptic post.

Lisa shared on Instagram Stories the original Winston Churchill quote: “I no longer listen to what people say, I watch what they do. Behaviour never lies.”

She also shared a photo of four Labradors, including Hurley, along with the caption: “I got the gang together.”
