Actress Anne Hathaway, 41, has learned quite a few things from her time on all those movie sets, including a cool trick that she says gives her plump, full lips.
In a new TikTok video posted to her account this week, the Devil actress Wears Prada shared her beauty trickand all you need is a hairpin.
“It’s the first set up, I was sitting on a hair for a while, we got on set and I looked at the monitor and I noticed, I thought my upper lip looked a little wilted.” began the clip, which was filmed as she prepared to film a new campaign for beauty brand Shiseido.
She explained that she had asked her stylist for a hairpin, which ended up solving her problem.

In a new TikTok video posted to her account this week, Anne Hathaway shared her trick for getting fuller lips and all you need is a bobby pin.
All you need to do is gently press a bobby pin to the top of your lip, Hathaway explained in the clip.
Gently tap and push the bobby pin along the top of the lip.
“I went in and pumped my lip to try to get the blood flowing back to get some circulation and everyone looked at me like I had three heads,” Hathaway joked, as she demonstrated to viewers how she does it.
However, there was one major disclaimer about the technique that the Les Misérables actress had to share.
“You can press too hard, it should be gentle, delicate and not do it for more than 30 seconds,” he warned.
“Don’t stab yourself, if you’ve drawn blood you’ve gone too far, it’s not a vampire LipTok, it’s just a little something to wake up your upper lip,” the Princess Diaries star added.
Hathaway’s hack left many TikTok viewers in shock.
‘Like someone who barely has an upper lip; “I appreciate it,” one person commented.

In the comments section of the video, many users praised The Devil Wears Prada actress for the helpful trick.

‘I used to apply mint lip gloss and wipe it off after 5 minutes. It removed all the dead skin and crust and helps brighten my lips,’ someone else wrote.

Hathaway recently made headlines for her latest film, an age-gap movie, The Idea of You, which premiered on Prime.
