Anne Hathaway looks serious in an all-black ensemble as she continues filming WeCrashed in New York City
Anne Hathaway was spotted on Wednesday working on the set of the upcoming biographical drama series WeCrashed in New York City.
The 38-year-old actress appeared to be in a serious mood as she wore an almost all-black outfit and kept her eyes on the ground as she moved through the project’s production space.
The upcoming series is based on the rise and fall of startup WeWork and will debut on the AppleTV+ streaming service in the near future.

Hathaway wore a slim button-down dress that obscured much of her body as she worked on the project’s set.
The Les Miserables star also wore a pair of black velvet shoes that complimented her main piece of clothing.
The Academy Award-winning actress wore a single necklace and a set of dark two-tone sunglasses.
Her typically free-flowing brunette hair remained tied in a tight bun during filming.

Hathaway also partially covered her face with a stickered face shield to protect herself from COVID-19.
Development on WeCrashed was first announced in February 2020 and an official confirmation about the project was made in December.
The series is based on the podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, which was hosted by David Brown.
Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello later took credit for creating the series, while creative partners John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct each episode.

Jared Leto was later added to the cast as WeWork founder Adam Neumann, while Hathaway will play his wife Rebekah.
Kyle Marvin will also play WeWork founder Miguel McKelvey in the upcoming series.
Other artists to appear on the upcoming program include America Ferrera and OT Fagbenle.
The main production had started last May and is expected to be completed later this year.
WeCrashed will run for a total of eight episodes and the release date has not yet been made public.

It was also previously announced that a separate WeWork series from showrunner Stephen Falk was in development.
Nicholas Braun of Succession will currently star in the upcoming project, which was due to begin filming last year.
Work is also underway on a film based on the ill-fated company’s saga, with The Big Short screenwriter Charles Randolph writing the script.
The existence of the project was first disclosed to the public in 2019 and no possible release date has yet been set.
