A primary school student was rushed to hospital after his leg was impaled under a fence.

Emergency services were called to Annandale North Public School, on Johnston Street, in Sydney’s inner west, at 10am on Tuesday.

The student was found trapped under a fence with his leg impaled.

Paramedics freed the boy before he was rushed to Sydney Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia the boy fell before becoming stuck.
