Anna Faris is a mother who adapts to changes as her son grows.
The actress, 47, who shares Jack, 11, with ex-husband Chris Pratt, 45, revealed the pre-teen is starting puberty.
“He told me he thinks he has armpit hair,” the comedic actress told Hoda Kotb and Justin Sylvester on Monday. Today. ‘It’s happening.’
Faris was there promoting her upcoming film, My Spy: The Eternal City.
Sylvester advised the doting mother: “Get ready, honey. It’s happening. Get all those hugs and kisses now.”

The House Bunny star said she “misses” her son when he was little, “sometimes when you look at old pictures, but I really love this age.”
Still, the young man still needs his mother.
“One thing that drives me a little crazy about Jack, and I think most kids, is saying, ‘Mom, where’s my backpack?’ when it’s right there.”
“How do I teach him to look?” she asked.
The Estate star has some experience dealing with teenagers, thanks to her two stepchildren, whom she shares with husband Michael Barrett.
The actress and cinematographer met on the set of 2018’s Overboard, got engaged in 2019 and eloped two years later.
Barrett is the father of two children, a 20-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son.
“When I first came into their lives, I had no idea how to relate to them, so I remember trying to be really cool, like playing really loud music, Regulator, like when I was picking up… my stepdaughter (from school). Of course, she was mortified.”

The Mom star praises Jack’s stepmom Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34, who is expecting her third child with Pratt. “She’s on top of everything. I love how she is with Jack,” she told People in November 2022 (pictured in Los Angeles in April 2019).
Despite the rocky start, Faris said she now gets along well with her stepchildren.
The Mom star praises Jack’s stepmom Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34, who is expecting her third child with Pratt.
“She’s on top of everything. I love the way she’s with Jack,” he told People in November 2022.
My Spy: The Eternal City will be released in theaters on Friday, July 18.
