Anitta suffered a series of nasty injuries to her face and body when she was stung by a jellyfish while swimming.
The Brazilian singer, 31, experienced “pain like I’ve never felt before” after being stung in a cave in Ibiza, Spain.
Anitta was exploring the island while taking a break from her European tour over the weekend.
In an Instagram update, she showed the red marks the jellyfish had left on the right side of her chin and forearm in a video.
She told her followers: “I was attacked by a jellyfish and I fought it off. I’m fine now. But at that moment, it was intense. It was pain like I’d never felt before. I literally got electrocuted.”

The singer added: “I got burns all over my body from hitting him. It was an experience like no other.”
A man on the scene helped the award-winning musician shortly after she was stung by the sea creature, What’s The Jam reported.
Anitta said: ‘The sailor removed the poison from my skin with a knife. He scraped it off and the poison came out brown.
“I laughed and screamed, a mixture of emotions. After experiencing pain like that, I feel like I can handle anything.”
Anitta remembers the moment she was stung: “I felt it reach my face, my mouth. My mouth swelled up instantly.”
She did not seek medical help, telling her followers: “Everything is fine. I was in excruciating pain for about an hour. It was weird.”
Anitta took to Stories on Friday to show how her chin wound was still visible, albeit very discolored.
She jokingly asked, ‘Can any of the 728,371,918 jellyfish experts tell me if this scar will be permanent?’

It comes after sitting down for an interview with Today’s May digital cover star and opened up about her past health issues.
In 2022, the singer was hospitalized for months while battling an unknown illness that eventually went into remission.
The mysterious condition left her unable to walk and she admitted she thought she was “going to die” during the ordeal.
“I was very, very sick,” she recalls. “I got very sick and was so physically ill that I couldn’t work, and I hadn’t stopped working for many years.”
She said the experience “was a big wake-up call” as she realized that “I physically couldn’t do a lot of things that I loved to do because of my health.”
“I had to take time to take care of myself,” she said.
While working to improve her health, she was inspired to make music.
“I wasted a lot of time in my life trying to achieve goals, please people and be successful,” she told Today.
The singer, born Larissa de Macedo Machado, said the illness “changed my whole mentality and that’s why I made this album.”
Anitta noted: “I made Funk Generation in the hospital. I thought I wanted an album like this. In case I die, I’ll leave an album that I’m proud of.”
And that is exactly what she did.
“I’m really proud of this album, and I didn’t make it thinking about streams, algorithms and numbers. I just thought about having fun and loving what I was doing,” she enthused.
It comes after she sat down for an interview with Today’s May digital cover star and opened up about her past health issues (pictured, in the hospital in 2022).
In July 2022, the superstar took to Twitter, now X, to share a photo of herself in a hospital bed holding a thumbs up.
She explained: ‘I came from the tour straight to the hospital to begin preparations for a surgery which I will have as soon as my body is ready for it.’
In a later tweet, she added: “Surgery was already scheduled before tour started. I have something called ENDOMETRIOSIS (very common in millions of women around the world, but not talked about as much as it should be). I feel good, I’m getting great care and I’ll keep everyone posted. Much love.”
She told Today: “After my health issues, I started taking more care of my spirituality. I follow the Yoruba religion and I had to dive into it. I dove into myself and everything that makes me feel at peace.”
