Netflix has announced that the expected animated series Twilight of the Gods, directed by the famous director “Zack Snyder”, will be produced and implemented by Xilam Animation, the French studio that brought us the animated series Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life, which was shown on the Disney + platform in 2021.
For those who do not know the nature of Twilight of the Gods, it is a two-dimensional animated series that is being implemented under the supervision of “Zack Snyder”, who will also direct two episodes of the series.
Marc de Pontavis, Founder and CEO of Xilam Animation Studio, said:
We are very proud to be working with the team at Stone Quarry including acclaimed creator and director Zack Snead, and we are also incredibly grateful to Netflix for trusting them to bring their incredible vision to life. We will be using the latest 2D animation throughout the series, which will feature amazing battles and special effects in the style as iconic as Zack Snyder’s predecessor throughout his illustrious career.
Twilight of the Gods was first announced in 2019, and in 2021 an impressive cast of actors who will be cast in the series include John Noble as Odin and Patterson Joseph as Loki. and Christopher Hivjo from Game of Thrones as Andvari.
No visuals for the series have been revealed yet, so it’s currently unclear if this will have an anime-like style or other Netflix animated series, or if Xilam has another art style up its sleeve.
