A football player’s shocking thigh tattoos reading ‘eat s**t’ on one leg and ‘snort and fuck lines’ on the other have caused division at a football club that quietly deletes photos of him. vile ink
Daily Mail Australia this week exposed New South Wales rugby league player Joshua Taylor-Myles, 23, as the anonymous athlete who surprised football officials with the offensive ink on his upper thigh .
Footage of the hooker playing football in the NSWRL Luke Lewis Cup on June 8 went viral on social media, prompting his southwestern Sydney club, the Aquinas Colts, to remove the images from social media .
At least two images of Taylor-Myles’ legs were deleted from the club’s social media pages as commentators criticized the tattoos as “disgusting” and social media users called for the athlete to have them removed with a laser.
Club members have long questioned how the scandal has been handled.
“He should be kicked out of the club if he refuses to cover those tattoos,” one former member told Daily Mail Australia.
“I get it, we all make mistakes, but there’s hardly a reasonable excuse as to why such offensive words would ever be written on your body.”
“He wouldn’t play if I was still at the club.”
One of Joshua Taylor-Myles’ tattoos says “eat s**t” while the second tattoo says “snort and f*** lines.” The tattoos are seen, above, on his thighs.
Club president Brett O’Farrell (above) said Tayor-Myles will cover up the tattoos.
Club president Brett O’Farrell insisted the club was following industry guidelines and said the messages expressed on his legs were not the views of the club.
“We are following the NSW Rugby League guidelines and that is all we are willing to comment on,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
“He’s going to cover for them, which is what I just said.” he added she.
Taylor-Myles was named “best” on the field by the club in the Cup in a now-deleted Facebook photo.
The father of one has not responded to questions about the tattoos.
In an unearthed photo shared on social media in 2020, a former teammate once described him as “everything seems clueless.”
On Monday morning, a NSWRL spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Cronulla JRL has issued the player with an official warning and asked him to cover the offensive tattoos if he wishes to continue playing in any NSWRL sanctioned competition.
‘The NSWRL and Cronulla JRL are committed to providing a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all people, including those of diverse sexualities and genders. Being an inclusive sport not only reflects our core values, but also reflects the diversity of our local communities.
A photo of Taylor-Myles, posted on the team’s Instagram page, disappeared shortly after the club president spoke to Daily Mail Australia.

“We have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment or defamation towards people with diverse sexualities and genders.”
News Corp commentator Buzz Rothfield said the tattoos were “simply vile”.
‘They are so offensive. It’s very homophobic. They did not realized. They didn’t check the leg tattoos of all the players they chose in the representative teams, but when a photo of the player was posted on social media, they recognized it and sent it to the New South Wales Rugby League and good for it. Dave Trodden.
‘He jumped on it straight away. He said we have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment or defamation towards people with diverse sexualities and genders.
“They’ve told this guy, ‘Cover them in duct tape or you’ll never play in a NSW Rugby League sanctioned competition again.'” I applaud them for coming down so hard on their rubbish.
“He plays in a club where there are a lot of young men and women who participate for fun, for the camaraderie and it’s just out of character.”
Previous match reports have described Taylor-Myles as a “smart number 9” and “tall for a hooker”.
“Taylor-Myles is known for exploding in the ruck and is powerful enough to break the line,” the report added.
“An outstanding try scorer, he often makes the right choice.”
