Angelina Jolie put on a stylish display while attending the screening of her upcoming film, Maria, in Westwood on Tuesday.
The Maleficent actress, 49, who has been promoting the biographical psychological drama film based on opera singer Maria Callas, greeted fans friendly as she arrived at the Landmark Theatre.
Maria, which has already generated Oscar buzz following the release of the trailer, is scheduled to arrive on Netflix later this year on December 11.
Jolie donned a long black coat that buttoned at the front and also opted for a black ensemble underneath.
Angelia slipped on a pair of black peep-toe platform heels to match the monochromatic color scheme of the look.

The star’s long locks were parted down the middle and cascaded over her shoulders in elegant waves.
Jolie opted for minimal accessories to allow her outfit to be the main focal point and added a pair of delicate earrings.
Her makeup was done classically for the special night and consisted of a coat of mascara on her eyelashes while a glossy nude tint was used on her lips.

Just a day earlier, on Monday, the actress appeared at another screening of the highly anticipated film in Los Angeles, and was mobbed by fans and photographers at the venue.
María was directed by Pablo Larraín, who is behind other projects such as Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).
Along with Jolie, other stars who have been cast in the film include Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Two months earlier, in August, the biopic premiered for the first time during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.

The film will have a limited release in the United States starting November 27, before arriving on Netflix the following month, on December 11.
The premise of the film is: “Maria Callas, the best opera singer in the world, lives the last days of her life in Paris in the 70s, while confronting her identity and her life,” according to a IMDB synopsis.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood ReporterAngelina talked about playing Callas and taking singing lessons for the film.
‘Many months of singing classes were necessary. Months of learning to sing and then Italian classes and then voice and doing all these things like her. Try to be precise,’ he explained.

‘Mad and Pax were in this one. Doing AD (assistant director) work. “They’ve done it several times and I think it’s good for them.”
“Pax tends to do frames and they hire him, and (director) Pablo was wonderful and recognized that he was good at it,” he added.
Angelina also revealed the reason she decided to back off in front of the camera, explaining that she didn’t need to be home as much for her kids.

‘They are a little older and becoming more independent. They need me less and that’s why I can be gone for different periods of time.’
And he added: ‘And they are old enough to accompany me at work. It’s a new season in our lives. “I am very excited that every day they are recovering more and more.”
