Angelina Jolie was the epitome of class while promoting her upcoming biopic, Maria, in New York City on Tuesday.
The Maleficent actress, 49, who recently put on a stylish display at the Director’s Guild of America in the Big Apple, could be seen walking toward a car waiting inside a parking lot during the busy evening.
Maria, which already generated Oscar buzz following the release of the trailer, is scheduled to arrive on Netflix later this year on December 11.

The hem of the dress hid the shoes she had chosen to wear and she accessorized the look with a black velvet shawl.

Jolie flashed a small smile as she was escorted through the lobby area of what appeared to be a parking lot before heading to her next destination.
The actress has been busy during a press tour for the psychological drama biographical film Based on the late opera singer María Callas.
Most recently, he attended a screening of the project at New York’s Crosby Street Hotel on Monday.

María was directed by Pablo Larraín, who is behind other projects such as Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).
Along with Jolie, other stars who have been cast in the film include Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Three months earlier, in August, the biopic premiered for the first time during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.
The film will have a limited release in the United States starting November 27, before arriving on Netflix the following month, on December 11.
The premise of the film is: “Maria Callas, the best opera singer in the world, lives the last days of her life in Paris in the 70s, while confronting her identity and her life,” according to a IMDB synopsis.

During a recent interview with Entertainment WeeklyDirector Pablo Larraín recalled working with Angelina and filming a specific scene that made him cry.
‘We did it on the last day of filming. We save it until the end. We had six to eight hours to do it. I operated the camera, so I was always close to her.”
He expressed: ‘Angelina had to sing it out loud, with all her power and humanity. As I did so, I asked her to feel the emotion and how broken she was in this moment of joy.”
The filmmaker added that “a kind of mix of demands and emotions was a very difficult thing to do” and admitted that he “couldn’t believe how beautiful it was happening in front of the camera.”
