WNBA star Angel Reese has revealed that while she was a college basketball star at LSU, she received love letters from men incarcerated in prison, and they wanted more than a quick romance.
Reese revealed the shocking attempt at love on her podcast with guest host Coco Jones, equally shocked.
Reese got her first big dose of the spotlight as one of the nation’s top college players, defeating rival Caitlin Clark in last year’s NCAA Championship, where she pointed her ring finger in the now Indiana Fever sensation’s face .
The Chicago Sky superstar has only gained more attention since that day 20 months ago.
The extent of her reach now appears to be within the penitentiary system.
“When I was in college, these guys in prison would send love letters somehow,” Reese said. “Somehow one of them got my mom’s address and my mom had to do all that and call the police and stuff.”

One inmate went so far as to find Reese’s mother’s address, prompting her to call the police
“I swear, he was talking about, ‘When I get out, I’m going to come get you, I’m going to be with you. We’re going to have kids.’ Sir, take a time out.’
“Add a year for creepy behavior and dirty work,” Jones replied.
Despite only playing one WNBA season, Reese is one of the league’s biggest stars and arguably the Sky’s best player.
Reese will return to basketball as part of the new Unrivaled 3-on-3 women’s basketball league after her rookie WNBA season ended with a wrist injury.
Clark will not compete in the Unrivaled League, with Reese on team Rose BC, with her teammates including Kahleah Copper.
