Angel Reese collided with Naz Hillmon as Chicago Sky lost to Atlanta Dream on Saturday

Angel Reese clashed with Naz Hillmon as her Chicago Sky team lost 89-80 to the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA on Saturday night, before being mocked by rivals on social media.

After Hillmon blocked Reese’s shot opportunity with the score 78-75 to Atlanta in the fourth quarter, the two stared at each other as the ball bounced out of the game.

Reese, when he turned around, seemed to say ‘what the fuck is wrong with you?’ and the incident was captured by fans who watched it on television.

One shared with X and wrote: It’s getting spicy between Angel Reese and Naz Hillmon.’

Another commented: ‘Really great defense from Naz Hillmon. She and Angel Reese have been having a fun battle in the booth today.

Atlanta Dream even shared the clip twice on social media: in one post, a clip from another angle with the caption: ‘Naz Hillmon has no…!’

Then, showing the consequences of the confrontation, they wrote: ‘WE KNOW THIS IS WHAT NAZ IS LIKE!’

Reese was the top scorer with 13 points, but it wasn’t enough as her Sky team was defeated.

Reese was tied for leading scorer with Kamilla Cardoso and Dana Evans, but Chennedy Carter failed to regain her spectacular form in recent weeks with just four points in 15 minutes on the court.

She also became the third player in WNBA history to record 10+ PTS, 10+ REB and 5+ STL in consecutive games, following Erlana Larkins and Tamika Catchings.

“Defense is what excites me, what gets me going,” Reese said after the game. ‘I love getting steals. I definitely have room for improvement.

“If the scoring doesn’t work, I’m going to provide toughness.” “I take pride in recovering.”

Reese was not asked about his exchange with Hillmon in his postgame press conference.

The loss leaves the Chicago Sky at 4-6 for the season, while the Atlanta Dream is now 5-4. Sky returns to action Wednesday night against Connecticut Sun.
