Angel Reese said Caitlin Clark has racist fans while discussing their rivalry on her new podcast.
The duo has taken WNBA interest to new heights since being drafted earlier this year. Reese is with the Chicago Sky while Clark was selected first overall by the Indiana Fever, continuing a fierce rivalry that developed in college with Reese at LSU and Clark at Iowa.
Reese said: ‘Caitlin is an amazing player and I’ve always thought she was an amazing player.
“We’ve been going against each other since high school. I think it’s just the fans, her fans, Iowa fans and now Indiana (Fever) fans, that support her and I respect that.”
“But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism in that regard and I don’t think she’d tolerate any of that.”

The Chicago Sky player said fans have followed her home outside of basketball and targeted her by creating nude photos through artificial intelligence and sending them to her family.
Reese continued: ‘But when it comes to death threats – I mean people coming to my home and following me home – that’s what it comes down to.
‘On many occasions, people have taken photos of me with AI as if I were naked, literally. They’ve sent them to my relatives. My uncles have sent them to me as if to say, “Are you naked on Instagram?”
‘It’s a shame to see that, it’s very hard to have to go through that and see other players who have to go through that.
“But at the end of the day it’s a game that we both love but there’s no hate.”
