Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Richarlison will be out for “three to four weeks” with a knee injury.

Richarlison played in most of the 2-1 loss to Wolves in their last game on February 17, but has not been seen in training footage this week.

Spurs will play Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Fulham over the next three weeks and also host Luton on March 30.

Postecoglou said: “Richarlison will be out for three or four weeks. He suffered a small knee injury in the last game.

“With Richy, it’s disappointing, he’s been a key contributor, how our season has gone, getting one back and losing one.”

Richarlison’s absence will be a blow after his run of nine goals in his last 10 games.

Richarlison has been in impressive form for Spurs since mid-December, scoring nine goals in his last 10 Premier League games.

He’s not the only one who has been on the treatment table: Ryan Sessegnon, Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro also need attention.

Postecoglou added: ‘Ryan (Sessegnon) had a little setback after the last game, well, a big one.

‘Sess is tough, it’s not his fault, he worked hard to come back. It’s always a challenge when a series of events happen and you haven’t had any reward for all your hard rehab work in terms of getting out there and playing.

“He’ll get the support he needs, he had surgery, he’s a positive guy and he’s been through this before so I hope that helps.”

‘Destiny (Udogie) has a chance. He’s trained, so we’ll see how he stops. Pedro probably still has another week to go.

Spurs go into their game against Crystal Palace on Saturday five points behind fourth-placed Villa and will be desperate to make up ground before facing Unai Emery’s side on March 10.
