Andy Robertson has revealed what the Liverpool dressing room thinks about Jamie Carragher following the club legend’s recent comments about Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian’s contract expires at the end of this season and he claimed there are no new offers left on the table from Liverpool bosses.
The 32-year-old forward conducted a rare interview with sport mail and a small group of other journalists after scoring twice in a 3-2 win at Southampton, where he said he was “more out than in” and criticized the club.
It was an act that drew criticism from the likes of former Liverpool defender Carragher, who branded the Egyptian “selfish” for his comments on Monday Night Football.
Now, Liverpool defender Robertson has revealed what the Liverpool team thinks about Carragher following his comments.
In an interview with CBS Sports, Robertson said: “He (Carragher) has been getting a bit of heat in the locker room this week, that’s for sure!”

Carragher, who was at CBS Studio, was quick to criticize Mohamed Salah earlier this week.
Carragher claimed Salah was “selfish” for his recent comments regarding their contract dispute.
Carragher was on pundit duty on CBS Sports on Wednesday night and laughed in the studio when Robertson revealed the news.
Earlier in the week, Carragher had said: “Of course there have been discussions.” Right now, there’s obviously a big difference in valuation, how Salah and his agent value themselves, in terms of contract length, and how Liverpool are doing.
“So the reason Liverpool wouldn’t have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will reject it. “They are still in talks, I’m desperate for them to meet in the middle.
‘But I must say that I am very disappointed with Mo Salah. That interview last night… Liverpool have Real Madrid during the week and Manchester City next weekend. That is the story of Liverpool at the moment.
“And Mo Salah, we know, especially the local journalists close to the club, that in seven years he has been in the mixed zone twice. That is absolutely fine.
But he stops for the third time in Southampton after winning the game against Liverpool and eliminating them.
‘If you continue to post comments or your agent continues to post cryptic tweets, you are selfish. “That’s thinking about themselves and not about the football club.”
As reported by sport mailLiverpool rejected a lucrative £150m offer from Saudi side Al-Ittihad in 2023. On that occasion, the Reds were unable to compete with a staggering £1.25m-a-week tax-free salary offered by the club.
The striker, 32, conducted a rare interview with Mail Sport and a small group of other journalists.

Addressing their contractual impasse on Sunday, Salah said: ‘We are almost in December and I have not yet received any offer to stay at the club. I’m probably more out than in. You know that I have been in the club for many years.
“There is no club like this. But in the end it’s not in my hands. Like I said, it’s December and I still haven’t received anything about my future.
‘I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or in those of the fans.”
Furious Liverpool fans labeled the club’s owners “disgraceful” and “unforgivable” following Salah’s revelation.
Salah has started this season on fire under new manager Arne Slot, scoring 12 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, but has left his future on Merseyside up in the air.
Liverpool came from behind to claim a 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points with Salah the hero on the south coast.
