“Fifteen years ago today, heaven had a new angel,” he began the caption.

The images also featured Richardson’s widower Liam Neeson and his friends Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Ralph Fiennes and Kristen Johnson.
“I’m trying to put into words the effect it had on my personal trajectory and I think in particular that it opened a window on the world that I had never envisaged,” Cohen wrote.
He praised Richardson for teaching him “the good life” in every sense of the word (art, travel, food, wine, fashion).
“But beyond that, she was dogmatic about the importance of community, sharing experiences, kindness, good manners, laughter and love – all the truly important things in life” , he continued.
“I think part of me, during those magical years when she was the ringleader of the best things in life, knew that this lightning in a bottle couldn’t last forever,” Cohen said. “I really appreciated that moment then, and it stays with me forever.”
Cohen added that Richardson “would have been disgusted by the rise of social media and the current state of the world and politics, but she would have remained the center of gravity for her family and friends who all lovingly floated on her orbit”.
