Andy Cohen has revealed that his five-year-old son Benjamin asked for police drones this Christmas, leaving him wondering if the youngster has been watching the news lately.

In recent months, many have seen drones flying over the Northeast, in places like New Jersey, New York, and Washington, DC.

Since at least Nov. 18, New Jersey officials and federal investigators have been plagued by reports of seemingly unexplained planes, some as large as cars, making strange, unscheduled nighttime flights over sensitive sites across the state.

While the White House has assured the public that there is no threat to national security and that these drones are simply “hobbyists,” it has caused mass hysteria.

And now, it looks like Cohen’s little son has caught wind of what’s been going on this holiday season.

“He asked me to help him write a letter to Santa and said he wanted a police drone for him, which is very timely,” said Cohen, 56. Us weekly in a new interview.

‘A Lego police drone that really flies. I’m like, “I don’t think that exists, but that’s okay.” It’s timely,’ he added.

The Watch What Happens Live host wondered if his son had been tuning into the news given his timely request.

“I said, ‘What have you been seeing on the news?'” Cohen joked.

But besides these Lego police drones, there are a few other things on Ben’s Christmas list, and they include things for his little sister, two-year-old Lucy.

“He ordered bath toys for Lucy and wants a Valentine’s card kit so he can make Valentine’s cards for me because he loves me,” Cohen shared with the outlet.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he added.

“He’s a lot of fun and that tickles me for obvious reasons,” Cohen said of his son Ben.

“I love that he makes me laugh,” he continued. ‘The other day I posted something about him collecting bottle caps and I said, “What are you going to do with these bottles?”

And he said, “I’m going to put them in bottles.” I mean, it’s quite literal, but I thought, “Oh, you’re smart.”

He also revealed some sage advice for parents.

“The kids don’t have a lot of patience, but we’re working on it,” he told the outlet at the time.

‘If the toy doesn’t work, they want to throw it away. But you want to show it to them and say, “Hey, stick with this. Let’s figure this out.” “It doesn’t always work, but sometimes,” he added.
