An article on Sept. 5, 2010, “…rage as police cash in money on car phone photo,” said Andrew Perry, a CPS attorney, could scorn the court by giving a presentation using an evidence photo of football player Jermain Defoe holding a cell phone while driving, before the case was heard.

In fact, the photo involved a speeding violation, persecuted by Mr. Perry, which had already been completed; a mobile phone case mentioned in the article had not yet started. We are happy to set the record straight.
