Rugby League immortal Andrew Johns has won a call to have his driver's license repaired after being banned for his susceptibility to epileptic seizures.

The 45-year-old lost his driver's license in December 2018 after receiving an epileptic seizure in a cafe in Yamba on the north coast of New South Wales.

According to the NSW rules for maintenance, the Johns driving license was automatically banned for six months as a safety measure.

"I have my freedom back and it is unreal," John said The Daily Telegraph.

Johns applied for his license again earlier this year and was rejected, allowing him to rely on his partner Kate Kendall and a combination of friends, public transportation and sharing journeys for transportation.

To get a driver's license back, the candidate must go for six months without seizure and be able to provide proof of medication and medical supervision and treatment.

Johns was able to withstand the conditions for Roads and Maritime Services this week and is now behind the wheel again.

It was also revealed that Johns is planning a new project.

Johns posted an Instagram photo after their exchange, where Warne knocked Johns in during one of his deliveries.
