Andrew, 62, made the comment in an interview with a local radio station after anchor Susan Richard asked what he thought of the survey.
“I haven’t seen that, but now that you’re raising it … my brother is married, I’m not married, so I don’t think he qualifies as eligible – however I qualify,” he quipped.
Andrew Cuomo, 62, joked that he is ‘eligible’ after a matchmaking survey found that he and his brother Chris – who is married – are New York’s most wanted men
That was the reason 1010 PROFIT anchor to yelp back: “Well, I just want to say that we are both single Sagitarians from Queens. I’m just saying, I’m just putting it out there. ‘
“Sounds good,” Cuomo said, laughing.
The survey in question was conducted by executive matchmaker Maureen Tara Nelson among 2,000 of her clients.
Participants were asked who their ideal man was – which led to a tie between the Governor of New York and his anchor brother CNN.

It comes after both are at the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.
Chris has detailed his own public battle with the disease, while Andrew led the response in America’s worst-hit state.
Nelson told it New York Daily News that hundreds of women have come up to her and say “find someone like me” about the brothers.
Andrew Cuomo, a father of four, is currently single and separated from partner and celebrity chef Sandra Lee in September last year after 14 years together.
Before that, he was married to Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert Kennedy, whom he married in 1990. The couple divorced in 2003 and divorced in 2005.
Meanwhile, 49-year-old brother Chris is currently married to Cristina Greeven Cuomo, whom he married in 2001.
The couple have two daughters and a son together.
Speaking of why the pair made the most sought-after bets, Nelson said: ‘I think women under these stressful circumstances want a strong’ executive ‘man like the governor and someone who can live in a basement for three weeks and see always turned out.

While Andrew claimed to be unaware of his soaring popularity with the New York ladies, Chris was painfully made aware of the fact by daughter Bella after showing him a video of a young admirer talking about him on TikTok swooned.
