On Thursday, the 30-year-old free agent forward, who He will reportedly sign a three-year, $27 million contract with Golden State, shared photos of himself as a child, wearing a throwback Warriors jersey with the number 23 (presumably Jason Richardson’s).

In his posts, which were originally shared on Instagram, Anderson captioned one of the two photos “it was written,” noting that he was destined to play for the Warriors.

Anderson, the former 30th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, joins the Warriors as part of a sign-and-trade deal that will send a future second-round pick and cash exchange to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
