Best known for his extravagant designs loved by celebrities and supermodels alike, Roberto Cavalli leaves behind a vibrant legacy built over 50 years in fashion.
The late Italian designer, who died on April 12 at the age of 83, was famous for his love of animal prints, fringes, beading, contrasting colors and cutouts.
Her various brands, including Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli and Roberto Cavalli Parfums, channeled a flirtatious femininity that was not for the faint of heart.
Not only did he dress stars like Beyonce and Taylor Swift for the red carpet, but he also designed some of their most memorable stage outfits for, respectively, their Renaissance and Eras tours.
Kate Moss fronted several of Cavalli’s advertising campaigns, while her rocker ex, Pete Doherty of The Libertines, became the face of the designer’s fall 2007-2008 men’s collection.
