The Apple Card is experiencing an outage today that could affect your ability to make payments, manage your card and view recent transactions, according to Apple’s status page. The service interruption appears to have started at 6:17 a.m. PT today and is still ongoing more than two hours later.
Apple’s credit card solution is managed almost entirely through the built-in wallet app in iOS, where users can pay their credit card bills, view recent transactions, and make payments through Apple Pay. Apple says all users will be affected by the current outage, though it’s not clear whether every user will experience all of the potential issues the company has reported.
We’ve reached out to Apple for more information and will update when we learn more or when the outage is over.
