James Taylor was eliminated from the opening night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

It came amid delays and as organizers sought to prevent Joe Biden’s speech from being further delayed.

However, the president did not take the stage until around 10:30 p.m. local time.

Due to the raucous applause that interrupted one speaker after another, we ultimately skipped elements of our program to ensure we could get to President Biden as quickly as possible so he could speak directly to the American people.

Taylor had previously been spotted rehearsing.

Kamala Harris’ campaign remarks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night could be broadcast live on the Democratic National Convention screen in Chicago, new reports reveal.

If the 8 p.m. rally is held at the United Center, the vice president could end up speaking virtually at her own convention.

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to deliver keynote addresses on the second night of the convention.

The unprecedented move would mark Harris’ second remarks at the convention, albeit remotely, following her brief remarks honoring President Joe Biden onstage on Monday night.

Joe Biden arrived in Santa Barbara, California, shortly before 2:30 a.m. Pacific time on Tuesday morning for a family vacation after a long day in Chicago on Monday.

This came after he delivered the opening address on the first day of the Democratic National Convention and spoke after midnight for East Coast viewers.

President and First Lady Jill Biden disembarked with their granddaughter Natalie Biden.

Other family members who disembarked from Air Force One in California early Tuesday included Hunter, holding baby Beau, and his wife Melissa Cohen, the Bidens’ daughter Ashley and her husband Howard, and grandchildren Finnegan, Maisy, Naomi and Peter.

The Bidens are staying at Kiani Preserve, an 8,000-acre ranch with its own winery owned by their friend Joe Kiani.

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s latest attempt to get his federal tax crimes case dismissed has failed.

Hunter is scheduled to appear in federal court in Los Angeles in early September.

If convicted in the tax evasion case, Biden faces a maximum of 17 years in prison. He has pleaded not guilty.

Hunter was seen hugging his father Joe after his speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Monday.

The president has said he will not pardon Hunter, despite his federal weapons conviction and potential tax doom.

In his speech to the Democratic National Committee on Monday night, Joe Biden addressed the issue of the anti-Israel protesters outside. He said:

The protesters taking to the streets are right. Many innocent people are being killed on both sides.

We are working day and night to end the civilian suffering of the Palestinian people and finally, finally, finally achieve a ceasefire and end this war.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared live from the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.’

Her show ‘Veep’ has seen a 350 percent increase in viewership after Kamala Harris emerged as the Democratic nominee. She said:
