An argument breaks out in the food court after a man took a family’s chair holding a table while ordering food. Whose side are you on?

TikTok users were left divided after a viral video showed a man snatching a chair from a family holding a table as they ordered at a food court.

The footage shows a man in a white T-shirt arguing with an entourage of women for a few seconds before taking a chair.

The recorder can be heard exclaiming: “Okay, it’s about to go viral on TikTok” as the man walks away towards his table.

As she sits down on the chair, the woman begins pointing at a sleeping baby in her mother’s arms and exclaims, “Dude, she’s got a newborn. Come on, I’m going to stand up, you should stand up too.”

But he is heard to quickly reply: “I don’t have to” as she jumps in to tell him he should be “a gentleman”.

Marissa told her viewers in the video’s captions that the man was with two women and that as the argument continued, her three-year-old son expressed fear and was “freaked out.”

While some viewers were quick to express their support, many were left wondering if the group had stolen a chair from the man beforehand after watching the video below.

In another video posted by Marissa, TikTokers can see the man sitting in the chair as the group continues to argue.

“Something doesn’t add up, they probably took the chair away from him first, then he went to get it, someone who works there saw everything and left a comment,” one viewer wondered.

Another joked: ‘Well then it looks like there were three people and you took the chair that belonged to the person they were waiting for, and he said ‘whoops’ and took it back.’

One viewer also chimed in: “I feel like there are two sides and we’re only seeing one side, he said thank you when he took the chair so the maths isn’t maths but the push up was a bit much sir.”

It is unclear whether an incident occurred before the unidentified man took the chair and the TikToker began recording.
