Read her angry neighbor’s note to the woman using the “smelly” fireplace next door: “Have you considered moving to Queensland?”

A woman has shared the terrible message her neighbor sent her after using a wood-burning stove in the middle of a residential area.
The woman, from Melbourne, was sitting at home when she felt a sudden autumnal chill in the air and decided to light a fire.
But her vigor in the evening was not lost on her neighbours—including the family who had to battle the “stinky” wood that “spoiled” their fresh air.
The woman found an angry note on her door a few days later accusing her of ruining the entire weekend with the family with her “selfishness” and “ignorance”.
A woman shared the obscene message (pictured) that her neighbor sent her after using a wood-burning stove in the middle of a residential area
The neighbor’s anger is outlined in her note.
Dear Neigubor (sic), have you considered moving to Queensland? It’s clearly not warm enough in here because you have the stinking polluted wood fire burning all the time!
“It is beyond us how can people pollute and spoil the clean air of others so flagrantly?”
And they continued, “While you sit in the warmth, all the other houses downwind have to hurry up (sic) and swallow the poisonous smoke you pump out, and go outside and look down your chimney!”
The neighbor was particularly angry about her family’s inability to enjoy the beautiful weather in Melbourne last weekend.
This past weekend was beautiful. Two glorious days we were hoping to spend in the garden with the kids..but your stinking smoke paid + instead we spent indoors with the doors and windows closed.
The neighbor also seemed to attack the woman’s character, which betrays the tension that exists between the two neighbors.
A word of warning…. Next time you complain about someone else’s selfishness affecting your democracy (sic), just don’t think that your ignorance and firewood have caught us.
The note is not signed with a name but is simple and clear: “I’m not happy!”
