Amy Schumer revealed what her husband and son think about her fame.
In a recent episode of Alex Cooper calls his daddyThe comedian and actress, 43, sat down with the 30-year-old podcast host to talk about everything from connections to their early childhood. In the episode, Schumer also shared that her husband, Chris Fischer45 years old, and son, Gene5, he doesn’t really care that she’s a household name.
“It’s the same with my son or my husband,” she told Cooper. “It’s like, ‘You’re a mom.'”

Schumer was first linked to Fischer in November 2017. Shortly after the comedian made their relationship Instagram official in February 2018, the couple got married at a surprise wedding in Malibu. He later spoke about the duo’s courtship and told him TODAY that she I knew Fischer was “the one” after a month of dating.
“We were friends for six months before (we started dating),” he said. “We got to work very quickly.”
The couple welcomed their son in May 2019 and Schumer he told PEOPLE at that moment she wanted to “be with him as much as she could.”
“I’m very grateful to be able to work and have time for myself too,” she said. “But it’s brutal. It hurts. I mean, there’s no way. It’s kind of painful.”
“And that’s why I’m not worried about them taking care of him,” she continued, acknowledging that her husband’s support made it possible for her to go on tour again. “I just miss him. You just want to be there physically. I really think it’s harder for me than it is for him.”
