A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said on Sunday: “We were called shortly after 9pm on Saturday to a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
‘An ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult woman, was taken to Barnet Hospital for further care.
Moments earlier, the dancer had performed the Foxtrot to Toploader hit Dancing In The Moonlight with her famous partner, JLS star JB Gill.
But fans noticed that the dancer was partially seated during her last performance.
The pair rose to number five in the Strictly rankings after receiving a collective score of 32 from the show’s judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.
A statement from Amy’s spokesperson confirmed: “Amy was feeling unwell and so an ambulance was called as a precaution.”

Amy returned to the show after a two-year absence in September.
Her world fell apart when she was diagnosed with cancer the day after returning home from her honeymoon with her dancer husband Ben Jones in 2023.
While he hoped it could be cured through surgery, two months later in June, doctors found another type of cancer.
In what became the toughest year of her life, the professional dancer underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy, fertility treatment and nearly died from sepsis.
Amy, who also battles Crohn’s disease, confirmed she was cancer-free in February.

While he won’t be cleared for another five years and will still need treatment, he thanked his family and friends for their support amid his “most difficult year.”
Sharing a jubilant image with her Instagram followers, she wrote: ‘There is NO EVIDENCE OF ILLNESS! Words I dreamed of! My biggest achievement so far!
‘I won’t get the all-clear for another 5 years, especially with hormone-fueled cancer. But it was all worth it. Words I never thought I would hear at some point.
‘Very grateful for all the attention I received and continue to receive.
‘To my husband, family and friends who supported me unconditionally and to you! Thank you!’
He continued: ‘I will continue to need a monthly injection for five years and regular check-ups.
‘Chemo and the past year have certainly taken their toll on my body, both physically and mentally, so I will be taking the next few months to heal and recover.
‘I have a lot to strive for and live for, and I’m so grateful to have another chance at life! Something I know not everyone understands. I certainly see life differently and my life has changed forever!
