Amie Harwick’s brother demands public apology from Wendy Williams after the host announced her death
Amie Harwick’s brother has called on Wendy Williams to publicly apologize after making an “extremely unsavory” joke about the death of the sex therapist.
Chris Harwick’s sister died after falling from the balcony of her home in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, and her former boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse has been charged with murder.
When announcing the tragic news about Harwick – the former fiancée of former Price Is Right host Drew Carey – the Wendy Williams Show host said Monday: “She was killed … not by Drew, but by the ex .. “Come on down.”
Referring to the well-known slogan of the show “come down,” Williams, 55, looked at the floor as if she were seeing something fall, shocked by shock from her audience in the studio.

Chris told me Fox news: “Domestic violence is something nobody should joke about.”
“This is a difficult time for my family and Wendy Williams to make light of this tragedy is very worrying for us and extremely unpleasant,” Chris continued.
“My sister worked tirelessly for victims of domestic violence and women’s rights. Wendy Williams should publicly apologize for my comment. ”
The woman from Pennsylvania is survived by her parents Penny and Tom Harwick.
Her funeral is scheduled for Thursday in the home state.
LA resident, Amie, previously had a restraining order against Pursehouse, with whom she was dated 10 years ago.
The restrictive order against Pursehouse had expired at the time of Harwick’s death and she had “expressed fear about a former boyfriend.”
Many viewers bashen Williams for the joke, including @AuntKimmie_GG, who said, “I KNOW #WendyWilliams has not just made a” come on “joke about the ex-fiancée of Drew Carey who was killed by having a third-floor balcony be thrown !!! Have someone tell me I heard that wrong, please … but the audience is completely silent. “
@BotchedNews added: ‘Has @WendyWilliams really just made such a joke about Drew Carey’s ex? Disgraceful, “adding her behavior was” very disgraceful “and” she should be thrown out of the sky. “

On January 16, he allegedly harassed her at the XBiz adult industry awards ceremony, organized by porn star Stormy Daniels, in downtown Los Angeles.
“Gareth knew that Amie would be with XBiz. He chased her there and he went crazy bats, “Harwick’s good friend former movie film Jasmin St. Claire told page Six.
‘He worked as a photographer at the awards, but his behavior was offensive and threatening. He screamed and screamed, “she added.
“Amie told me after the incident that she was afraid he would show up at her house. She went to the police, but they didn’t take it seriously. He was really obsessive with her; checking, “she added.
Although Harwick warned the police about Pursehouse’s behavior after the incident, nothing was done.
“There should be an Amie law to protect women. It’s a tragedy that brought Amie to the police a few weeks ago … The LAPD has abandoned her. It’s just devastating, “said St. Claire.

Amie’s girlfriend Diane Arias started a Justice 4 Amie petition requesting no expiry date for restrictive orders until the request, mandatory long-term guidance for the stalker / perpetrator and institutionalization if they are considered a danger.
Arias also believes that victims do not have to testify in a courtroom close to their offender / stalker and that there should be an option to stream live in a safe area.
“This man clearly needed treatment, imprisonment and / or punishment for years prior to this attack,” Arias says in a petition that had about 36,000 signatures by Wednesday afternoon.
The Change.org petition required 50,000 signatures before it was sent to California politicians.
“She should never have been in as many situations as so many other victims.
“The process of getting a restraining order is very difficult, traumatic and must be repeated when the restraining order ends.”
