Other additions to open include a 12,000-square-foot children’s area with 10 slides and an expanded deck area with lounge chairs and air-conditioned cabanas.

Over the years, it has expanded to include a Rome-themed hotel and campground, as well as indoor and outdoor theme parks and water attractions.

In 2022, it became home to America’s first rotating water slide, with the Medusa Slidewheel “which combines the motion of a Ferris wheel and the depth and excitement of a water slide.”

Commenting on the latest addition, park owner Nick Laskaris said, “The Rise of Icarus will be the ultimate experience for thrill seekers in Wisconsin Dells.”
