America’s second largest coffee chain launches 4 beers

If you think nothing goes better with Donuts then coffee, well… two well-known companies are teaming up to challenge that concept! Check out the great coffee-beer mashup brewed to bring you some very bold flavors this fall.

No wonder Dunkin‘ went out the gate first with their autumn coffee menu– they had more seasonal news in store! For the fourth year in a row, Dunkin’ and Harpoon Brewery have partnered to release fall-themed beers for a limited time. “Every fall, our fans look forward to our collaborations with Dunkin’,” said Dan Kenary, founder and CEO of Harpoon Brewery. Brian Gilbert, Dunkin’ Vice President Retail Business Development, added, “Beer, matcha, coffee and donuts – we can’t think of a better combination.”

Along with what they say it’s already popular Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale At 5.2% ABV, this year’s Dunkin’-Harpoon flavor series features three new intros:

Blueberry Matcha IPA (“tea-like and tropical” and 6.6% ABV, according to a press release);

Maple Cream Blonde Ale (brewed with real Dunkin’ donuts and maple syrup, 5.5% ABV);

Midnight American Porter (an updated version of their earlier Dunkin’ Coffee Porter brew, this time with chocolate and espresso notes and 6% ABV).

A spokesperson for Dunkin’ says: Eat this, not that! that the two Massachusetts-based brands will release the new beers in September. The brews will be available wherever Harpoon is sold in the Dunkin’ Dozen Mix Pack, which includes three of each flavor, or as a six-pack of just the Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale.

Some Buffalo Wild Wings locations in the Boston area will also have all four Dunkin’ Harpoon beer flavors on tap starting October.
