She claims that the man pushed her from behind and tried to knock him off just to lose consciousness while he hit her.

& # 39; When I recovered, he had to hit me, & # 39; said Lawrence-Daley. & # 39; Over the head. I kick and hit myself. & # 39;

And while she is grateful that she is still alive, Lawrence-Daley blames herself for the attack.

& # 39; I just, if I didn't go alone, it wouldn't have happened, & # 39; said Lawrence-Daley. & # 39; I would not have brought my family through it. & # 39;

The person responsible for the attack was not found and Lawrence-Daley said the police investigation led nowhere. The hotel has not taken responsibility for the attack.

& # 39; I really hate the way they handled everything, & # 39; she said.

Lawrence-Daley stayed at the all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana with her husband Christoper and another couple when the attack took place.

In a long Facebook post describing the attack, Lawrence-Daley shared photos of her horrific, bruised and bloody facial injuries.

The mother of the two said she spent five days in a local hospital and was recovering to repair her injuries – some of which are still recovering four months later.

Lawrence-Daley claims that she was attacked by a hotel employee because she remembers that he had seen him in a uniform with the resort logo on it. She has accused the resort of refusing to take responsibility for the incident.

DailyMail.com has contacted Majestic Elegance for comment.

She said the attack took place on her second day at the resort around 10.30 pm when she stepped out of her room to get a snack and take photos of the moon on the beach.

She remembers telling her husband that she would be back in five minutes, but Lawrence-Daley said she would be missing for eight hours.

Lawrence-Daley said she remembered she was plowed from behind & # 39; and felt her attacker's arms around her as he pulled her to a nearby, unlocked maintenance room.

& # 39; I fought with everything I had at the time. He was too strong. The next eight hours brought me pain and fear, & she said.

Lawrence-Daley said she can remember being strangled several times and repeatedly unconscious.

She said her attacker later dragged her down a concrete staircase to an underground wastewater area in what she said was an attempt to hide her body and mask the sound of the attack.

& # 39; I was kicked in the head, I was hit with a club. And then strangled for the murder; at that moment he threw my body away in an area that I have the & # 39; hole & # 39; name it, & # 39; she said.

& # 39; I was unconscious several times during this savage attack, so I have no idea what was done to me at the time. Somehow I survived. & # 39;

She claims that her husband and friends went to the front desk three times after she went missing before the security started looking for her.

In her Facebook post, Lawrence-Daley said that hotel security brought a quad to the beach, assuming they were somewhere & # 39; drunk & # 39; used to be.

& # 39; I was lost at 10.30 am and was found more than eight hours later. It was hell, & she said.

After being found the next day, Lawrence-Daley said she was staying in a local hospital for five days to undergo surgery for her uncovered injuries.

& # 39; I am still dealing with various problems, including nerve damage, as well as all medical costs since I am home, & # 39; she said.

& # 39; Majestic Elegance claims no responsibility for the attack because I could not identify the attacker, although he was wearing a uniform with the resort logo and slammed me directly in front of the unlocked maintenance room and wrecked me down the concrete stairs to a basement no one could hear or find me.

& # 39; The police have found evidence of the blood-stained mop handle and a maintenance hat in the area I found, but this means nothing in these countries. & # 39;

She said she spoke about her ordeal in an attempt to warn other travelers to be wary.

& # 39; This man thought he had killed me, but he failed. He is still outside, a predator, waiting for his next victim. Only the next woman may not be so fortunate. Please, please, don't walk alone. These attacks happen too often and the criminals are not prosecuted, even though evidence is found.

& # 39; Victims are not reimbursed for medical or pain and suffering, and the resorts are not held liable. Majestic Elegance has not offered to reimburse us for our vacation, let alone my current medical bills.

& # 39; Remember if you are in unknown places, or even in known places, be smart, be safe. & # 39;
