This is the flamboyant rockers’ last tour before their retirement, and it will officially end in New York’s Madison Square Garden in December.
Currently, their only Australian show will be on October 7 at the Accor Stadium in Sydney.
The news comes weeks after reports that Crowded House have pulled out of the Grand Final soccer game, despite their prior commitment to play.
So far no details have been revealed as to why the Don’t Dream It’s Over hitmakers dropped the AFL decider, which in the past has attracted a TV audience of up to 5million of fans.

It is the first time since 2010 that the AFL has had to scramble to find a replacement performer for its Grand Final entertainment.
That year, American music legend Lionel Ritchie stepped in at the last minute after INXS was unable to perform the gig.
It comes after entertainment from last year’s AFL Grand Final was criticized by viewers.
While Robbie Williams received praise for his debut performance, which included a duet with Delta Goodrem, the other Aussie artists involved were wildly wild.
Halftime entertainment included performances by G Flip and Australian rock bands Goanna and Temper Trap as well as a range of First Nations artists.
While some viewers were no doubt happy to see underrepresented minority groups take center stage, others called it “woke” and said the voices didn’t measure up.
